It’s the bridal shower game gone luxe. When one thinks of toilet paper wedding dress, images of a bride-to-be wrapped up like a mummy with rolls of these 2-ply sheets come to mind.

The 11th Annual Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest, which took place in Kleinfeld Bridal, New York, had other ideas. The yearly competition, which started in 2005, and sponsored by Charmin, the toilet paper brand, saw show-stopping ideas that blew our minds.

The winning creation? Designer Van Tran from Brooklyn of New York, who designed a figure-skimming mermaid gown that had guipure lace-like patterns, an intricate collar detail, as well as fine ruffles and lace for the skirt.
