Less is more
Reese is rarely seen in elaborate styles – whether it’s her sleek, blonde tresses (which she usually lets down) to her gowns on the red carpet. This also applies to her jewellery choices, which are usually limited to three to four items – a bracelet, necklace, earrings and the occasional ring.

Know what works
When it comes to wearing jewellery – bridal or not – it’s important to ensure it matches your look, skintone, or wardrobe for the day. Reese has cool skin undertones, which is why she’s usually in white gold or silver pieces, which accentuate her complexion. Or, she’s seen with blue jewellery pieces, which bring out the colour in her beautiful blue eyes.

Reese Witherspoon radiated Hollywood glamour in a skyscraper-inspired necklace and bracelet from the Fall 2015 Tiffany Masterpieces collection, along with Tiffany diamond earrings and ring at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2015 Costume Institute Gala, May 4, in New York City.

Have a focal piece
Whether it’s your gown, accessories or your hair or makeup, pick one and keep the focus on it. The rest should complement or accentuate it, but never overshadow it. For her appearance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2015 Costume Institute Gala in May 2015, Reese wore pieces from the Fall 2015 Tiffany Masterpieces collection, but she let her outfit – a sexy strapless scarlet number from Jason Wu – take centrestage with her red-hot shoes. That said, her jewellery – a skyscraper-inspired necklace and bracelet, were no wallflowers either.
