The launch of the Singapore Wedding Association

The Singapore Wedding Association, the first of its kind in Singapore, has officially launched. Chaired by Mr Leonard Teoh, it was created to bring together like-minded people in the wedding industry, standardise certain standards and practices in the industry, and to build consumer confidence.
In a press conference, Mr Teoh, who is also the founder of Love Nest – a holistic wedding solutions provider, also shared that the association was created to be the bridge between member retailers and couples. It currently has ten leading bridal stores under its belt.
Should conflict arise, it’ll also step in to help both parties resolve disagreements in an amicable manner.
“There is much potential to grow in this industry,” Mr Teoh adds. “In time to come, we hope to bring independent talents and other enterprises such as event organisers, floral boutiques and photographers on board.”
