Style Lease founder Ang Jin Yuan stuns in four on-trend bridal makeup looks

Makeup artist Melissa Yeo adapted the latest makeup trends to suit Asian brides, like founder of Style Lease Ang Jin Yuan (@angjinyuan), who got hitched last year. She exudes a different charm in each of the gorgeous looks here.

Subtly does it

makeup "For dresses with elaborate details on the neckline, tone down on the makeup and use hues from the same colour family to create a balanced look that complements the statement gown and details," says Melissa.

hair A soft casual updo with loose tendrils looks more carefree yet still chic, and allows for the details of the high neckline to shine.

Gown, GALIA LAHAV.

Pretty pout

makeup "For a softer yet still glamorous look, I chose a brighter lippie. But instead of drawing a more defined lip, I diffused the edges for a sweeter, more feminine look."  (Also read: 6 kiss-proof lipsticks you can count on for your wedding day)

hair For a more modern bridal look, a swingy, textured ponytail is both stylish and effortless. Tousled waves, a centre parting with face-framing strands and a slightly voluminous crown all lend to a youthful appeal.

Pure romance

makeup "I created a fresh and soft bridal look using a palette of rosy and peachy hues. Simple yet pretty."

hair If you prefer looking more feminine and sophisticated, pair a dewy complexion with flowy, wavy locks that complement your face shape.

Gown, LEE GREBENAU.

Shine & sparkle

makeup "Soft, smoky eyes with nude lips are always a winning combination for evening celebrations. I used warmer, bronzy shades with shimmering tints to create a more captivating look."

hair Sleek tresses with defined waves create a fuss-free and polished style for a glamorous celebration.

Gown, VAUGHN TAN.
