THE VENUE

The Fabulous Baker Boy is the place for chill celebrations. With glass walls that offer a glorious view of the landscaped greenery, you and your party can enjoy an ‘outdoorsy’ celebration in air-conditioned comfort.

The Backdrop

The go-to source for everything wedding-related, Inside The knot took care of every detail for this romantic garden-themed wedding. Founder and principal planner Rubina Tiyu combined modern set pieces with lush foliage and flowers to create a magical atmosphere. We especially love this oversized ring of asparagus, Johor ferns, and Ammi Majus blooms – a fabulous photo op for all your Instagram posts.

See these other creative, contemporary backdrop ideas we love.

THE ENTRANCE

Rubina created a whimsical balloon arch that makes for a statement entrance, and which have guests wondering about the rest of your decor! (See: 18 whimsical ideas for a balloon wedding)

THE DECOR

Centrepieces don’t have to be grand to get noticed. Keep it small and pretty with terrarium jars of roses and podocarpus, as well as mint ferns.

More podocarpus as well as mint ferns, plus roses, hydrangeas, and eustomas hang above the tables. Together with sparkly fairy lights across the ceiling, they make the ambience absolutely enchanting!

THE BOUQUET

Don’t just match your bouquet to your own proportions and the length of your gown – make sure it goes with the decor as well (See: 7 things to note when choosing your wedding bouquet), with a posy of podocarpus, eustomas, roses and Ammi Majus blooms.

THE WEDDING CAKES

Why choose one when you can have three different creations for your dessert table? Keep the decor around them simple, like the sprays of large ferns and jars of candles here.

FROM LEFT: A three tiered confection featuring a red velvet and classic cream cheese cake with Valrhona chocolate exterior at the base, a middle caramel and Swiss meringue cake with  buttercream and air-brushed edible gold, then a caramel and Swiss meringue cake with buttercream in a watercolour burgundy and gold finish, and a floral topper.

A macaron tower of 180 macarons in three flavours- vanilla bean with black sesame buttercream, raspberry with dulce de leche buttercream, and chocolate with crunchy hazelnut praline.

A unicorn cake featuring The Fabulous Baker Boy’s classic five-layered carrot cake with Swiss meringue and buttercream, plus fresh flowers.

THE FAVOURS

For a more personal touch, a Petals & Foliage Bar was set u for guests to create their own wedding mementoes with fresh blooms and pastel-coloured metal jars.

Here, a simple wooden divider frame is trimmed with flowers and balloons, and strung with pictures of the couples. Tip! It can also be strung with pictures of your guests if you have wedding photo booth so they can bring these home as a gift).

THE TABLES

Garlands of ferns and flowers, paired with glass goblets of floating candles and handwritten menus, are an elegant invitation to a delicious sit-down meal. The cream roses add a subtly sweet scent to the atmosphere as well.

THE DANCE FLOOR

A fairy lit platform, larger-than-life signs and tons of balloons sends one message to your guests: let’s dance.
