THE VENUE

Light suffuses the warm wood interiors of This Flower Haus, thanks to full-length windows. Overlooking a verdant wall of trees, the space is the perfect setting for the vibrant floral tablescape. Twirling down from the ceiling, a delicate display of sheer white paper petals sprouting from a tangle of branches add a touch of whimsy to the scene.

THE THEME

Take inspiration from the unstudied abundance and lavish variety of flowers of an English garden. Set within the spacious interiors of This Flower Haus, Poppy Flora Studio created a fairy tale world of pretty flowers and fluttering petals against dramatic curtains made of large leaves and hanging ferns.

THE SETTING

A formal place setting gets tints of colour from sprinkled petals and leaves. Echoing the garden theme, a piece of fern substitutes for a napkin ring.

THE CENTREPIECES

Keep the conversation going with a table arrangement that allows your guests to interact easily and appreciate the lovely views. The interplay of different heights adds visual interest.

Chloe Choo (@chloeandchoo) looks divine in a sheer ruffled organdy and chiffon dress against a floor-to-ceiling backdrop of leaves and ferns.

THE DETAILS

Bunches of amaranthus caudatus cascade over the table, a charming departure from the traditional formal floral arrangement.

Other flowers used in this arrangement include lilacs and red alstroemerias, hydrangeas, orange bunny tails, ranunculus, Asclepia Beatrix, magnolia leaves, astilbe, and Erica blossoms.

Nature makes the best ornamentation for a simple place setting.

THE GOWN & MAKEUP

Against this lush and dramatic backdrop, Chloe shines in an equally head-turning ballgown with a sheer gathered tulle bodice with romantic lace and a gossamery layered skirt. Diminutive shoulder straps tied in bows lend to a whimsical feel.

Inspired by woodland fairies, Chloe goes for an ethereal look

THE BOUQUET

Keep to the theme with a bouquet of staghorn ferns, oat leaves, alstroemerias, ammi visnaga, green hydrangeas, Erica blossoms,  Asclepia Beatrix and scabiosa.

MORE DETAILS

Play with colours, textures and an eclectic mix of blooms that contrast beautifully against the simple white tableware.

An A-line dress featuring a deep V neckline and embellished with silk petals, is perfect for the garden setting.
