Eat more protein
Good hair growth starts from the inside so supply your lashes with proper nutrition by eating clean. Adding more protein to your diet will encourage the growth of your hair. Fishes like salmon contain omega-3 fatty acids which boost hair growth. Don’t neglect your greens and lentils either as foods rich in iron prevent hair fall!

Moisturise and massage lashes
Moisturise your lashes with coconut, almond, olive or castor oil every night. Smother some oil on your fingers and swipe them on your eyelid, near the base of your lashes. Coat your lashes with some of the oil too. Gently massage your lids for a minute to improve circulation, coaxing your lashes to grow. Be careful not to get the oil in your eyes, as it can irritate you!

Get an eyelash curler
Now that you know how to induce hair growth naturally, give your lashes an extra boost by investing in an eyelash curler. It curls your eyelashes from the base and makes your peepers look longer. Talk about an instant eyelash lift! Hold the curler at the base of your lashes for 10 counts, then shift it to the centre of your lashes for a few counts and finally, curl the tips. You’ll be stunned at how amazing they look.

Use different types of mascaras
Wiggle the wand of a voluminising mascara at the base of your lashes, making sure you get every single lash. Next, take a lengthening mascara and comb it through your lashes, applying it coat after coat. Be sure to let each coat dry before applying the next one.

Use the tip of the wand
Now, use just the tip of the mascara wand and vertically stroke each lash upwards. This is the secret step that will make your lashes stand out, longer than ever!

Coat your lower lashes
To balance out the drama in your upper lashes, lightly coat your lower lashes. Many people skip this crucial step, which is the key to make your eyes look even bigger.

Separate lashes with a clean spoolie brush
Finally when your lashes have dried, use a clean spoolie brush to comb through and separate the lashes, removing clumps. This will make your lashes look more natural as it removes the obvious traces of mascara on your eyelashes.

Remove mascara residue
Don’t panic and rub the wet splotches of mascara off your skin- it will mess up your makeup! Instead, wait for the spots of mascara to dry. Then, place the tip of a dry cotton bud directly on the stain and make a quick twisting movement to erase it.
