Like a facial… in 5 minutes!

Wedding planning aside, there are plenty of daily stressors like your diet, the sun and pollution that keep your skin from looking radiant. The Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask, a “five minute facial in a jar”, targets five signs of stress – dullness, rough texture, uneven tone, dryness and conjestion.

The key ingredient’s lotus flower extract, which is packed with antioxidants that protect skin from free radicals. It possesses natural alpha-hydroxy acids that exfoliate and contribute to a more youthful complexion. This is accompanied by Kombu seaweed flakes and red algae that gently buffer skin, as well as sea fennel extract to promote smoothness and suppleness.

$105 for 100ml, available from March 2018 at Fresh boutiques and Sephora.

Press-on nails for the time-pressed bride

If there’s one thing that gets on my nerves when I’m getting my nails sorted out, it’s the time spent waiting for the polish to dry, especially since I’m the fidgety type.

Enter the Magic Press gel nails from Dashing Diva, which come in a myriad of gorgeous designs.

Each box comes with 30 nail tips, so you don’t have to worry about getting the right size and shape. Then, all you have to do is remove the backing film, press it down on a clean nail surface, file down if needed (it’s soft so this is easy), and voila! A fabulous new manicure that’s non-damaging to your nails. Heck, you can even do this while getting your hair and makeup done on the actual day, and it lasts between 5 to 7 days.

$16 for a box, available at Sasa stores from April 2018.

Cleanse quick!

I’ve always been more a micellar water than oil cleanser kind of girl when it comes to removing makeup but that changed when I was given Fancl’s newly reformulated Mild Cleansing Oil (this one includes ingredients that target water-based makeup, as well as a Keratotic Plug Removal oil) to try. The formula is water-soluble so it doesn’t leave an oily film that some oil-based cleansers do even after thorough rinsing, and I loved how clean but supple my face felt after.

2-3 quick pumps dispense enough oil to massage over your entire face, and its ultra-fine nano cleansing particles penetrate deep into your pores to istantly yet effectively remove makeup, sebum and dirt. It even took off my waterproof mascara and eyeliner in a jiffy- no tugging or repeatedly going over budge-proof makeup.

$30 for 120ml, available at all Fancl boutiques.
