The terrific cliffside views overlooking the Indian Ocean from Uluwatu Surf Villas were more than enough as the backdrop for Andie & Mark’s solemnisation ceremony.
“As we had a grand ballroom celebration in Singapore the week before, we wanted our wedding in Bali to be chill, and our guests to be on vacation mode.”

The couple kept the decor simple and fun. Guests sat on chairs as well as plush oversized cushions during the ceremony, with most of them going barefoot – including the bride and groom!
An understated white and green arch was all the venue needed for an extra touch of rustic charm.

Inspired by the luxe and lush surrounds of The Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai, Celine and Daniel’s solemnisation took place on a beautifully decorated rice terrace with views of the rice fields, with a vibrant colour palette of red and orange.

The special venue saw the bride surprising their guests with a walk-in from the rice fields! The beauty of the all-natural surrounds required no extra decor.

“We decided to bring out the rustic historical charms of our venue with its rice paddy fields and traditional Lanna-style villas.”
Because Celine’s favourite flower – the peony – wasn’t in season, she decided on the local, in-season blooms of orchids, roses and berries that matched perfectly with the resort’s traditional architecture.

Having fell in love with Sibsan Resort & Spa Maetaeng’s relaxing and elegant ambience on a prior trip, Kay and Danny decided to hold their wedding there as well.

For their solemnisation, the couple decided on natural wood furnishings, blooms and other quaint and quirky items like a Persian rug and vintage patchwork chairs did not distract from the serene and traditional atmosphere.

The couple’s outdoor garden wedding at the Alkaff Mansion was mainly white with romantic lilac accents.
“Reciting [our vows] in the beautiful gazebo at Alkaff Mansion will forever be etched in our minds and hearts as the most emotional and romantic moment”, said the couple.

Lush floral arrangments, a hanging glass chandelier, white draperies and golden tiffany chairs adorned the outdoor gazebo, creating a romantic atmosphere for their solemnisation.

As the couple wasn’t fond of flowers, their wedding planner Nastassya Saputra of Flying Bride combined natural, sea-themed elements, such as hanging luminous oyster and capiz shells.
Large candles in glass vases and acrylic chairs kept their ceremony simple, chic and open.
“We wanted a wedding that would blend beautifully with the breathtaking beach at the Soori Bali Villa resort,” says Vivi.

Jeanne & Terence’s solemnisation took place at The White Rabbit’s adjoining outdoor terrace called The Rabbit Hole.
Pale yellow and white roses were tied to the chairs with long ribbons as a simple compliment to the table set up, and cheery oversized paper lanterns were hung from the rafters before the solemnisation spot.

Their closest family and friends seated cosily in The White Rabbit’s outdoor terrace during the solemnisation proceedings.
“We asked everyone to dress down. I told them to think of the event as a smart Sunday brunch and to dress accordingly.
It was so relaxed that mid-way through the reception, I changed into flip-flops so I could run around and take photos with our guests!”, says Jeanne.

The Taiwanese actress planned an outdoor beach wedding at Hawaii with her beau as they both like the sun.
Their solemnisation ceremony took place on an elevated platform decorated with two golden harps laced with lush arrangements of blue, coral and white wedding blooms.
