From alluring laces to intricate embellishments, Love Story Wedding Boutique’s latest collection of exquisite gowns will have you swooning.

We ask their designer, Jolene Tan Li Wen, about the collection and she shares some gown shopping tips as well!

Tell us about your latest collection.

It’s called Feminine Allure, and we believe that it will help brides express their inner romantic selves.

With the dreamiest fine laces, intricate embellishments and artful tulle drapes, it showcases luxurious, romantic glamour that appears effortless and timeless.

Among the latest trends in silhouettes and fabrics, which were you most attracted to?

The off-the-shoulder style appeared in many collections. Romantic and effortlessly fashionable, it’s perfect for brides who want to show some skin. Pearls are also back, and featured in pearl-accented necklines and embellished gowns.

Three-dimensional floral embroidery – both small and oversized blooms – continues to be a mainstay.

Any tips on choosing a gown?

Bridal silhouettes fall into six broad categories: ballgown, empire, A-line, sheath, fit and flare, and mermaid.

Try one of each on the first time you go shopping, and it will quickly become clear which works best for your shape. Then you can move on to the neckline, sleeves, and embellishments.

It’s important to try on several silhouettes to determine the one that best suits your shape and height.

What other services do you offer?
