Fann Wong to Paige Chua: All the wedding-worthy looks we love at Star Awards 2019

These Singapore celebrities cruised onto the Star Awards red carpet in looks we'd love to see on the wedding aisle.

If you were looking for big day inspiration from the Star Awards red carpet yesterday, you wouldn't have been disappointed. From gossamery creations to showstopping ensembles, we round up the looks that would double-up as wedding dresses.

For the day or first march-in:

FANN WONG

Fann's romantic Valentino piece in a romantic nude blush tone, sheer layers and delicate ruffles is a departure from her usually more sophisticated red carpet style - and it wouldn't look out of place at a dreamy garden wedding

To be honest, this is probably the most enjoyable star awards for me so far. Here r the reasons why. First n foremost, I lovvveee my romantic Victorian gown from @tanvaughn. It was at first sight. Adored My lovely princessy make up by @clarence_lee, a hairstyle much suited for my face shape by @dexterng , n had my main man @keithpngtl , making sure all is right. I walked out feeling at ease, confident and still feeling very much Me. Special thanks to @victoriafaceliftsingapore @bulgariofficial for making me sparkle with pride at the end of the day. This is the most emotional top 10 segment for me because of the wins of homecoming @chenxiuhuan, @linang56 n the first top 10 for @honghuifang. I shared the joy n excitement as much as they did. Or maybe they had more. Met my teenage idol Jerry yan aka 道明寺, took a pic with him n the beautiful Cecilia Chung handed me my award, shared the screen together. Adrenaline rush....get it? N then had a group picture taken with the minister to have some dignity back. N the SA team did a great job in the flow of events, acknowledging the pain of losing @aloypang in a respectful manner amidst the celebrative mood. So, It's been a great night.

Paige Chua was a modern day princess in this Vaughn Tan gown that's a nod to the romance of the Victorian era. Her sleek straight hairstyle gives the ensemble a dose of modernity, alongside clean makeup with a high wattage glow.

QUAN YI FONG

Host of the night as well as Best Programme Host winner Quan Yi Fong shone in a Rebecca Caroline gown with an asymmetrical overskirt and intricate embroidery. And those sculpted arms!

For a youthful and ethereal big day look, we're turning to Vivian Lai for inspiration.

FELICIA CHIN

While showstopping, this fanciful plumed look on Felicia Chin has us quite divided, to be honest. We're definitely into the bold feathery impact (and that train!), but it might have swung a tad too far in that direction.

For your evening look:

This sleek black caped Alex Perry gown only emphasized Jesseca Liu's statesque frame. We'd also wear the gown with an updo or slicked back tresses to show off a little more skin. (See: 7 times Jesseca Liu was the epitome of #bridalgoals)

DENISE CAMILLIA

Old Shanghai glamour comes to mind here. Denise Camillia gave off a regal vibe in this caped Z Wedding X Prof. Jimmy Choo Collective number jazzed up with elaborate embroidery.

Carrie Wong nailed minimalist chic in Ralph Lauren with jewels by Tiffany & Co. The structural pink sheath works for both day (if you're not into wedding white) and night (for a romantic evening look), we think.

One for the bold, glam brides - Bonnie Loo went for sultry glamour with plenty of sparkle and a plunging neckline.
