1. IT TOOK THEM 9 YEARS & 6 KIDS BUT THEY FINALLY TIED THE KNOT
While they’ve been coy about their wedding plans in interviews, Brad and Angelina made their union official in a low-key ceremony at the Chateau Miraval in Nice, France, on August 23, 2014. The couple were together for nine years and had six children together. They subsequently got engaged in April 2012, and previously said they would never get married “until everyone else in the country” shared the same right to do so. This is the third marriage for Jolie, and the second for Pitt.

2. KEEPING IT WITHIN THE FAMILY
Their six children were involved in the wedding – Maddox and Pax walked Jolie down the aisle, Zahara and Vivienne were the flower girls, while Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers. There were only 20 or so guests at their ceremony, which included Brad’s parents, Bill and Jane Pitt, his siblings, Doug and Julie Pitt, and Julie’s two children. Brad’s pal and Ocean’s Eleven co-star George Clooney reportedly wasn’t part of the couple’s guest list.

3. WHAT THE BRIDE WORE
The bride looked a vision in a stunning white floor-length silk-satin Versace gown with an elongated train and a matching veil. To make things more special, the couple’s children’s drawings were also embroidered at the back of the bespoke gown and the veil. Her other accessories included a small locket with a photo of her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, in it, as well as a pair of white Versace pumps.
4. ALL IN GOOD TIME
The timing of their ceremony was no accident – it is said that the couple arranged it to coincide with their 10 anniversary of filming Mr & Mrs Smith, where they first met.
5. THE COST OF THEIR RINGS
Angelina’s engagement ring is an estimated 16-carat, emerald-cut diamond which is worth about US$500,000 (S$624,400), while Brad’s new gold wedding band is worth US$10,000 (S$12,490).
