Actress, top model and host Denise Keller, 33, tied the knot in a very private ceremony at the Banyan Tree Ungasan, Bali.

She says: “Well, initially we intended to elope but we decided to make it a getaway-slash-private nuptial with our closest people.”

The reception
The couple had an intimate ceremony and reception with 70 of their close friends and family at the Banyan Tree Ungasan. The beachfront resort conjures up images of sheer tropical luxury with its spacious villas, plush facilities and lovely wedding venues overlooking the Indian Ocean. At night, they ended the evening with a romantic first dance, and a magical fireworks performance.

The wardrobe
Denise looked radiant in a blush pink Monique Lhuillier Candy tulle gown with embroidered details from its Spring 2012 collection. The dress, which is available at Trinity Gallery features intricate appliques and embroidered details, light-as-air fabrics that make it comfortable and easy yet pretty enough for a destination wedding. Her groom looked smart in a black suit and blush tie to match. She was styled by Jason Coates.

Hair & makeup
Celebrity makeup artist Dollei Seah from Makeup Entourage gave Denise a fresh, romantic yet edgy look. “I prepped Denise’s skin with Guerlain’s Meteorites Baby Glow foundation, which helped keep her makeup light and dewy throughout the day with minimal touch ups. I also gave her a light smokey eye (with Guerlain’s Terracotta Khol in Noir 01) – which suits her best, a sheer blush (Guerlain’s Blush Duo in Chic Pink) and pale pink lips (Guerlain’s Kiss Kiss Lipstick in 300 Golden Girl) to play up her beautiful peepers and smile. The look also enhanced her features, which most are already familiar with,” says Dollei.

Denise’s hair was slicked back into a low bun – simple and glamorous – which she wore in the day, and let down with a loose yet textured ‘do for the party at night. “I wanted something that suited the tropical Balinese weather, and made sure that the look should allow for little to no changes or touch-ups during the wedding,” adds Dollei.
