Inspiration
“As people are familiar with her work on Channel News Asia, I didn’t want to change her look too much. The result? I created a much softer, sweeter look for her wedding that was romantic and appropriate for the occasion, achieved by Cle de Peau Beaute and Etude House.”

Face
“I kept Glenda’s makeup light and fresh with a light fluid foundation, as well as concealer to cover any blemishes and eye bags.”

Cheeks
“As her base was light, I didn’t want to apply too much colour on her cheeks as well. On her: a light, peach-toned blusher with a touch of shimmery highlighter just below her eyes and near her cheek bones. She wore a sheer pink shade for the dinner reception after.”

Eyes
“For day, Glenda wore an earthy brown eye shadow colour palette with flecks of gold, and mascara for brighter peepers. At night, the hues were kept similar, but I included a touch of glittery eyeliner to play up her beautiful eyes.”

Lips
“Glenda wore a beige pink hue with a touch of gloss during the day, but brightened her look later in the day with a vibrant red lip.”

Pro tip
“If you’re kept busy before the wedding like Glenda was, I highly recommend applying facial masks at least once a week to keep a skin hydrated. I’d also advise brides seeking to pull off a similar look, to try to keep their base makeup minimal, as they don’t want to look too covered up. Shimmery highlighter over the T-zone to brighten up your visage, and waterproof mascara (in case of waterworks) is a must, too.”
