Flower & sand centrepieces
A modern twist to the rustic flower jar centrepieces, these ones look sophisticated, and are easier to diy. Get glasses of varying sizes, fill them with sand (you can get those at flower nurseries), and place a lush bloom on top. Don’t forget to put the bloom in a holder or tube, so it can last throughout the afternoon or evening.

A back drop of balloons
Have balloons of varying sizes, and in matching colours, and stick them to a wall or large board. This will serve as a great back drop for your dessert table, reception table, or even your stage decor. Just make sure you don’t get too close onstage though!

Glitter votives
Inject a touch of glitter glam to your centre pieces by adding glitter (just brush glue to the inside of your jars, and add glitter) to your candle holders. These are so pretty in pictures, and add glamour without much fuss.

Pretty lace settings
Paper lace doilies over or underneath transparent glass chargers pretty up your table settings instantly. Plus, you get to save on place cards by adding your guest’s name on the doily itself. Clever!
