It may be nice to have cars and condos but for a relationship to work and last, these are the 4 Cs you need.

Stay Calm
Everyone gets emotional in an argument and sometimes words are said that you regret saying later on. No matter how aggravated or frustrated you are in a tiff with your loved one, stay calm, think carefully and count to ten before you say anything. Measured words always help any troubled relationship.

Be Committed
This means going the extra mile for your loved one and always being there for him/her. However bad things are going, if both of you are committed to the relationship, a commitment based on love, then there’s always a way to make it work.

Always Caring
Be the tower block of support for your loved one, be there to hear his/her woes and troubles and always be on hand to give advice or just a shoulder to cry on. If you care for someone, you will share their pain and have their welfare at heart.

Good Communication
Ignoring or running away from a problem only lets it fester into something worse. Confront the issue calmly and make an effort to talk things through with your other half. Communicate your opinions, thoughts and views in a logical, positive and respectful way, and encourage him/her to do the same. A good discussion can clear any misunderstandings and misconceptions.
