You’ve seen pictures of her looking super chic at the LA premiere of Crazy Rich Asians with a sleek top knot, fire engine red lips and red and white chinoiserie-inspired dress, but did you know that local actress Constance Lau (Her World’s April cover star) gets a special kind of facial when she wants to look that amazing?

That’s a gua sha facial, in case you’re wondering. “Gua sha” is a traditional East Asian massage technique of using a tool to apply pressure and scrape the skin to improve drainage and circulation and Constance says it’s her secret to having a sharp, v-shaped face.

Other ways she looks gorgeous and red carpet ready is with the help of makeup artist and fashion stylist Tinoq Russell Goh and hair stylist Dylan Chan. Goh styled and dressed her for that LA premiere that made the world sit up and take notice of the 28-year-old Singaporean actress.

Goh played up her almond-shaped eyes with a clean flick of eyeliner for Her World’s cover shoot and used Dior Forever foundation to make her skin look flawless. For some colour, he used Dior’s Spring Summer 2019 Lolli’Glow makeup collection featuring limited edition Diorskin Nude Luminizer Lolli’Glow and Rosy Glow blush to give her face the prettiest glow and flush; and Dior Addict Lip Glow for rosebud pink lips to match. She looked so chic it’s hard to believe she was once self-conscious about her classic Asian eyes. Watch our Beauty Undercover video to see more behind-the scene action.
