Philanthropist and supermodel Petra Nemcova speaks to Her World on her non-profit organisation

Philanthropist, supermodel, tsunami survivor, global ambassador for Chopard – these are a few terms Petra Nemcova is synonymously known for. The Czech beauty was in Singapore recently, to host a charity event to help raise funds for her Happy Hearts Fund (HHF), a non-profit organization she founded in 2006 after experiencing her own personal tragedy during the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, and seeing the catastrophic impact it had on children in the region. In 2013, HHF opened its first international chapter in Indonesia which supports the reconstruction of schools impacted by natural disasters. In addition HHF Indonesia is reaching out to underprivileged communities to receive access to proper education. Since then HHF has rebuilt more than 120 schools across Indonesia and supported more than 45,000 children in need. We chat with her on how she splits her time between Miami and Indonesia, as well as serving advice to aspiring female leaders of our time. Click to watch the video.
