Each month, we enter the houses of stylish women to uncover their wardrobes to understand their personal take on fashion and aesthetics. Continuing our adventures from past women like Jade Seah, Melissa Koh and Priscilla Shunmugam, we open the closet of Bella Koh: A mother, a recipe developer, yogi and founder of Slowhouse. Besides sharing her wisdom, experiences and tips for healthier and more conscious living, Bella also graces us with countless beauty and minimalist styling #inspo on her social media accounts.

True to her brand, Bella lives and breathes for sustainability, and this shows in her fashion choices. One of her favourite clothing brand is Reformation, which prides themselves in creating effortless and feminine silhouettes with sustainable materials like linen, Tencel and viscose, and repurposing vintage clothing and unwanted textiles.

A problem that women face, Bella included, is finding clothes that fit and flatter their body type. Bella’s solution? Buy the same clothing in all their shade offerings. This is a good tip as you can ensure that your outfits will always be on point while having colour options to switch up your looks. Also, it makes packing for travels so easy and fuss free.

Yet, Bella’s wardrobe is nothing but boring. She loves playing with the juxtaposition of textures and colours, which can be seen clearly from her favourite shoe brand, Neous from Italy.

Another simple way to play on textures and materials is to use a straw bag. Made from a sustainable material, a straw bag is a simple way to jazz up any ensemble.
