Polina Korobova (@godsavedthequeen) doesn’t just wear glitter—she wields it like a statement. At 30, the LASALLE College of the Arts alum has built a world where bold colours, shimmering faces, and body art collide with activism, vulnerability, and unapologetic self-expression.

“Being fearless is choosing and channelling your unapologetic self every day,” she says. “You want to dye your hair bright blue? Do it! You want to wear crazy pants to work? Do it. That’s how I see fearlessness—moving through life like no one, and absolutely everyone is watching.”

Her creative journey has not shied away from challenging moments. Korobova often draws inspiration from political and social events, translating complex experiences into bold, glitter-drenched artistic statements. “Every time you comment on something that might spark polarising opinions, you put yourself at risk—risk of judgment or even exclusion—but that’s okay,” she says.

One particularly meaningful collaboration was with photographer and activist Emmie America, who worked on a project highlighting women’s voices and experiences around the world. “I allowed myself to be completely vulnerable with someone I had never met before, but somehow, it felt entirely right,” Korobova recalls.

Korobova’s message is simple yet radical: being fearless isn’t about the absence of fear; it’s about acting in spite of it. And if a trail of glitter happens to follow you everywhere you go? All the better.
