A grown-up take on the classic Igari look — the flushed, slightly tipsy glow — dominated the streets. Fashion girls embraced a TikTok-famous “tired girl” aesthetic, with rosy cheeks, lived-in liner and smudgy, post-coffee lips. The look is the antithesis of the clean-girl era: instead of masking signs of fatigue, it leans into them. Dark circles aren’t concealed but incorporated, giving the face character rather than chasing perfection. Skin appears healthy but demi-matte, a quiet rejection of the glass-skin ideal. Hair followed suit, with simple, air-dried strands capturing Tokyo’s signature nonchalant edge.

If there’s one beauty detail synonymous with the city of love, it’s the red lip. This season, tastemakers reinterpreted the classic in fresh, modern ways — from outlining their pouts with a matte, brownish-red liner and topping it with an almost metallic gloss, to wearing a full, true-red lipstick paired with bare, understated eyes. On the hair front, the stylish crowd continued to inspire with their signature tousled, textured bobs, proving that effortless chic remains Paris’s enduring calling card.

Oversized hair accessories stole the spotlight at Copenhagen Fashion Week, proving they’re the ultimate finishing touch to any outfit. Scandi style girls revived ’90s staples — from scrunchies to bandanas — styling them on braids, buns, and even along the hairline. Festival-ready crochet bandanas also made a comeback, blending playful nostalgia with modern street style.

Toasty, sun-kissed makeup dominated the Big Apple, with It Girls flaunting bronzed, luminous skin and warm blush swept across the cheeks and cheekbones. Eyes stayed soft with a light wash of neutral shadows, while lips leaned into a “my lips but better” nude, completing the effortlessly radiant look.

The Italian fashion capital embraced moody, dramatic hues this season. Think smouldering, smoked-out eyes with inky lashes paired with deep, overlined lips in shades of burgundy and maroon — a bold, cinematic statement that perfectly complements Milanese glamour.

Fresh from the streets of SS26, Londoners embraced light, airy rose-toned makeup — a look perfectly suited to usher in the new year. Monochromatic peachy-pink hues create a universally flattering effect, easily achieved with a soft sweep of blush, subtle lipstick, and coordinating eyeshadow — a chic, fresh way to start 2026.
