Speculation surrounding James Seah’s personal life has reached a fever pitch—but the actor is now setting the record straight.
In a cryptic Instagram Story shared on 1 May, the 35-year-old responded to circulating rumours of infidelity and a possible split from his wife, content creator Nicole Chang Min. “I understand there’s been so much speculation about my personal life,” he wrote, adding that “any allegations and assumptions circulating online are baseless, inaccurate and taken out of context.”
Without directly addressing the nature of the rumours, Seah offered a reflective note on relationships and change: “As life goes on, people grow in different ways and [it] brings us through different paths.” He went on to emphasise his desire for privacy, stating that he would not be sharing further details, and expressed gratitude for the support of his loved ones.
Seah and Chang Min, who married in 2022, have shared glimpses of their relationship online, occasionally documenting their life together on social media. However, eagle-eyed netizens have pointed out that the couple have not appeared together on social media since May last year—fuel for ongoing speculation. Chang Min has also remained silent on the matter, even as Seah received a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Star Awards 2026 for his role in Another Wok of Life.
Online chatter has only intensified in recent days. On Reddit, users have claimed to have spotted Seah with a mystery woman at Shanghai airport, with some speculating she could be content creator Vicky Low—though this remains unverified. Adding to the intrigue, the couple’s joint Instagram account, @mister_moonstone, appears to have removed Seah, while Chang Min’s recent reposts have struck a more cryptic tone, with quotes alluding to relationships and trust.
In a separate Instagram update shared on 1 May, Chang Min posted a quiet, introspective message of her own: “I don’t ask for everything to be perfect, just lighter and a little kinder than before.”
