If there’s one thing the spring/summer 2025 accessory trends are telling us, it’s to relax, have fun, be silly if you want to, and try something new. Spruce up your fit in an instant with statement cuffs and lace-up heels, give a playful swish with fringed bags, or try on bug-eyed sunnies! You do you, boo.
1. Cuffs
It’s time to swap your shimmery tennis bracelets and dainty companions with chunky cuffs. Worn with a slinky powder blue dress at Acne Studios, double cuffed at Chanel with almost every look, and commanding attention at Balmain—statement cuffs are the only wrist party you need this season.
2. Lace-up Heels
Fun, sensuous and oh-so-feminine, get all tied up with lace-up heels this season. With Ferragamo leading the way with its ballerina-esque steppers, and Dries Van Noten with its fashion-forward leather mules—we’re ready to add that tiny but mighty detail into our shoe arsenal.
3. Fringe bags
Following boho’s return, fringe is back in a big way, and in many ways. The biggest of which in the accessory world may be the fancy fringe bag. From sparkly versions at Louis Vuitton and Gucci, to a boho suede number at Valentino, and a corporate-friendly Peekaboo at Fendi. Go on and swing into action!
4. See-through Heels
Get ready for your Cinderella moment with see-through steppers that also give the illusion of limbs for days. Victoria Beckham went for a full glass slipper, transparent number; while Gucci kept its transparency to the wedge and elongated toe for a lengthening effect. For a comfier take, try the Dries Van Noten mesh version with clear wedges.
5. Bug-eyed Sunglasses
Oversized, bug-shaped sunnies are having a major moment thanks to Loewe, Prada and Balenciaga. The quirkier and larger, the better.
6. Marine-themed Jewellery
Disney girlies, it’s time to live out your Ariel dreams and be decked out with marine-themed baubles! Take your cue from everyone’s season-favourite Chloé for a more natural look, or do it sexy and fierce like Roberto Cavalli, or keep it classy and chic like Tory Burch.
