Kim Lim goes live on Instagram with Xiaxue to sell her rare designer bags
Kim noted on the livestream that most of the bags were practically brand new, having been used no more than twice

Some know her as a socialite. Others, a billionaire heiress. Some as an influencer, and others as an entrepreneur—she’s the founder of KLHealth, Illumia Group, and Papilla by Kim Lim. But if there’s one more thing Kim Lim could add to that list, it’s “bag collector”.
On Tuesday, 15 May, Kim took to Instagram for a livestream closet clear-out with the help of her close friends, including content creators Xiaxue and Jordus Bingjie.
In one of the early Instagram Stories she reposted before the sale went live, Jordus shared a behind-the-scenes peek while helping her sort through her wardrobe. “90% of her stuff is brand new,” he revealed. “Even I’m camping for her posts. She’s sorting everything out right now then she’ll upload soon!!”
The livestream officially kicked off at 10PM. The format? Simple but chaotic—in the best way. Viewers had to comment on the bags they wanted, and only the first comment got dibs. If chosen, they had to WhatsApp a provided number with a screenshot of their payment. The twist? They had just three minutes to make the transfer.
The stream quickly attracted 12,000 viewers, and the designer pieces—many of which Kim had barely touched—started flying off the digital shelves. Kim didn’t spend more than three minutes on each bag before moving on; there were just too many to get through.
Among the pieces up for grabs? A classic Louis Vuitton Monogram Bum Bag priced at $2,000 and in great condition.
There was also a light pink Chanel Flap Top Handle Quilted Leather bag, which Kim admitted had a small stain—but assured viewers it could easily be removed by a bag specialist (whose contact she conveniently had on hand).
Other standout pieces included the Chanel Woven Chain Top Handle Vanity Bucket Bag—a rare collector’s item you’d be hard-pressed to find in stores. Kim even admitted she wanted to keep it, but her friends persuaded her to let it go. She listed it at $4,500.
Dior fans were in for a surprise when she revealed a black Dior Saddle Bag—claimed to be a first-generation version. Although it had visible wear and scratches, the $6,400 bag was going for just $2,900.
Also on the list: a Chanel Croissant Mini Black Lambskin bag for $5,200, and a cult-favorite Chanel 22 Chain Hobo Quilted Lambskin with Shearling bag for $6,900.
The livestream went on until nearly 2AM—almost four hours long—before Kim finally had to cut it short. “Guys, sorry our live cut off because duration too long already!!” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “I will try my best to come on again tomorrow. If not, please stay tuned.” She added, “Thank you for your support—15K viewers! We have more great deals coming.”
And she wasn’t kidding. Kim and her team are returning to Instagram tonight for one final livestream. This time, not just with bags, but with accessories too.
