Jennie has settled the style conundrum for us once and for all: the “millennial” side part is here to stay. On August 28, the Blackpink megastar unveiled a fall capsule collection with Adidas Originals, which she co-designed in Los Angeles. At the launch event at the Melrose store, Jennie wore pieces from her own ballet-inspired collection, but it was her hairstyle that really pulled the entire athleisure look together.

Posing against crater-like art installations, galactic wallpaper and a lunar-inspired backdrop, the South Korean artist, who also released her latest single “Fallen Angel” and its accompanying music video that same day, wore a tracksuit layered with a ballet leotard-inspired wrap top bodysuit and track pants, finished with a square-toed slip-on ballet sneaker. The latter is Jennie’s take on Adidas’ classic three-stripe kicks.

Her raven-black strands were styled with a slight inward curl, while her bangs were slicked down and swept to the side, tucked neatly behind her ear.

The look appeared to be secured with a discreetly hidden bobby pin, keeping every strand in place. Her makeup was kept clean and understated, with a wash of peach across her lids and the high points of her cheeks, paired with glossy rosewood-hued lipstick.
