Leave it to Chanel house ambassador Jennie to reinvent the classics. It’s an ethos that Matthieu Blazy has championed since taking the reins at Chanel: even the most timeless signatures can be reimagined with a fresh point of view.

For Chanel’s second Métiers d’Art 2026 show in Seoul, the BLACKPINK star channelled modern-day Hollywood glamour. Her beauty look centred on bodacious, bombshell curls that showcased her naturally voluminous hair, paired with a vibrant coral-red lip and fluttery, elongated lashes that made her eyes pop.

Held at the Centre Pompidou Hanwha for Chanel’s Cruise 2027 collection, Jennie stepped out in a nautical-inspired ensemble designed by Blazy. The look featured a plunging neckline anchored by a statement double-C logo, styled with high-waisted navy trousers trimmed with intricate braided gold detailing. While the outfit was originally presented on the runway as a full suit, Jennie gave it her own spin, skipping the jacket and draping it nonchalantly over her arm instead.

The finishing touch? An unexpected take on the French manicure. Swapping the traditional nude base for glossy black while keeping the signature white crescent tip, Jennie once again proved that classics don’t have to play by the rules. If you’re looking for a fresh way to wear the perennial nail favourite, do it “Like Jennie”—and trade the expected nude for a striking black base.
