How a fashion influencer packs makeup and skincare for limited luggage

“Since I often fly on economy for personal trips, proper planning is important to ensure everything fits. Because I require certain things, such as my medication, hair styling, and makeup tools, I always set aside ample time to pack, just in case I forget something.
I’m not a light packer but an efficient one. I use up the full weight allocation and have developed my own travel hacks, such as bringing versatile makeup items that can be used for the whole face, like the Nars Lightspeed palette that works on cheeks, eyes, and lips, a compact powder (not loose), a neutral lipstick shade, such as Dior Rouge Lipstick in 100 Nude Look that suits all occasions, and Chanel multi-use baume for highlighting.
For skincare, I purchase travel-sized items for my products and bring beauty items that come in sachets, such as Noble Panacea facial oils and masks. These can be disposed of upon usage, which helps me save weight by the end of the trip. Since I travel a lot, I bulk buy travel-sized items that I use frequently, like hairspray, facial cleansers, and moisturisers.
As I require more hair products for event hair styling, I allocate extra space and weight for hair tools. Ultimately, it is what fits your needs best. Makeup and skincare always go in my check-in; my carry-on is specifically for fashion bags and electronics.
In-flight mode
Moisturising the night before my flight really helps. I use lots of the cult-favourite Nivea creme for body cream, and Blunies deodorant to ensure I smell fresh as temperatures constantly change during the long hours.
I don’t actually do my skincare on the plane, as I usually have my skin prepped with collagen-infused toner pads and a good moisturiser, but I love a good face mist, like the Chanel N1 Mist, to keep my skin hydrated throughout the flight.”
