Here’s what you missed at our four events with Westgate
Insider tips, exclusive deals and makeup demos were some of the highlights

Her World Beauty Club members took part in four exclusive events over the last few months, as part of our collaboration with Westgate. The mall is a beauty haven for shoppers, with multiple beauty brands housed under one roof, making it a one-stop shop for beauty lovers.
Our exclusive beauty sessions gave readers the chance to discover new beauty products and get access to expert tips from brand insiders. There were special deals for all attendees too, with discounts and free gifts at every event. Our guests were beaming with excitement when they showed up for these sessions from four beauty brands – Kiehl’s, M.A.C., Sulwhasoo and Benefit. With informative advice from beauty professionals, goodie bags and irresistible offers, we totally understand why they were so hyped up!
Our first event in May featured Kiehl’s Educator, Lucki, sharing how Kiehl’s evolved from a pharmacy to a successful beauty brand, as well as how the brand emphasises on gentle formulas, which is why it’s suitable for people of all skin types.
He also introduced a selection of new acne care products from Kiehl’s but the highlight at this event was when guests received a comprehensive skin analysis as well as personalised routine recommendations. This was extremely useful for maximising the benefits from their beauty routine, so they could zone in on what they should and shouldn’t be doing, based on their individual skin type, concerns and lifestyle.
Our next event with M.A.C. featured a makeup masterclass from the brand’s Resident Trainer Alif. He showed our readers how to perfect their base makeup using M.A.C., with Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 as one of the brand’s hero products. He also gave tips on how to fix common foundation issues such as when your powder looks cakey, and shared hacks on improving wear time for foundation, so that it lasts longer even in our sticky, humid weather.
It wasn’t just about sharing tips though, guests also received a flash makeover, with shade matching too. They then got to show off their new looks through Polaroid photos, which they were invited to share on their socials with the #IWearMAC hashtag.
At our Sulwhasoo event in July, the brand’s beauty expert, Jervon, gave a summer skin care demo on creating a simple K-idol makeup look. Not only was this look extremely easy to achieve, it was also heatwave-friendly. She also shared tips on how to make our skin look good in hot weather, while keeping it refreshed, hydrated and protected.
Our Westgate collab ended with an event on 31 August with Benefit, which showcased Benefit’s POREfessional series. Suhaini, Benefit Singapore’s Retail & Education Manager, showed readers how to ace their base in an informative makeup demonstration – she even chose the demo’s model from the audience!
It wasn’t just all about base makeup, though; she also gave advice on how to level up their daily makeup look, with tiny tweaks for fuller-looking brows and gorgeous lip shades.
