The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show made a glittering return to New York on 16 October, marking the second chapter of its highly anticipated comeback. Fan-favourite Angels Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel strutted back onto the runway, joined by a fresh crop of faces like Alex Consani and Paloma Elsesser — plus star athletes Suni Lee and Angel Reese. True to tradition, the show fused fashion and music spectacularly, with an all-female lineup featuring K-pop sensation TWICE, Karol G, Madison Beer, and the legendary Missy Elliott.

But as always, the real showstopper was the beauty: sky-high, gravity-defying hair that stole the spotlight with every step. No Victoria’s Secret runway moment is complete without that signature bombshell blowout, and luckily, celebrity hairstylist Jawara Wauchope, the show’s lead stylist, revealed exactly how he creates the look on social media. We’ve also tracked down the precise products you’ll need to recreate it — so you can unleash your inner Angel anywhere, anytime. While the big, sexy blowout remains a mainstay, Jawara notes that this year it’s sleeker toward the ends for a modern twist.

Here’s how he does it:

Prep: Apply a thickening spray such as Bed Head by TIGI Queen for a Day Volume Thickening Spray from roots to ends, distributing evenly with your hands.

Rough Blow-Dry: Lift hair at the roots and blow-dry upward with a round brush, against gravity.

Curl & Set: Roll hair in hot rollers (or curl and pin), letting the style set.

Backcomb: Section by section, backcomb using a dry texture spray. Jawara used L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray.

Makeup break: Send models to makeup to allow the hair to settle.

Finish: Remove rollers and brush out curls for that signature voluminous, runway-ready finish.
