Poh Heng’s ORO22 Eclipse collection is a moonlit fantasy

The moon has fascinated mankind since time immemorial. Suspended high in the night sky, its shifting form casting a silvery brilliance on the world below, it’s little wonder that it has often appeared as a leitmotif in the realms of fashion and jewellery. 

The latest additions to Poh Heng’s exquisite ORO22 line are shining examples of how the moon continues to spark the imagination.

Aptly named the ORO22 Eclipse collection, the range takes its cue from the moon’s path as it circles around the earth. Entirely and exclusively designed by local Poh Heng designer, Celine Goh, "the pattern creates an alluring visual symphony that dances in the moonlight."

Three distinctive shapes (the full moon, waning crescent and waxing crescent) are translated into circular discs that are crafted from Moonlight Glow, a special shade of 22K gold that’s exclusive to the homegrown jeweller. From statement necklaces to eye-catching earrings, the accessories epitomise the indomitable presence of the moon — just like the women they’re designed for.
