The Scarf Is The Most Versatile Accessory You Need
Classy, modern and edgy, it’s the instant foolproof way to amp up your style.

A scarf makes a great investment for your wardrobe, and is the most effective way to transform an otherwise plain outfit. There are literally hundreds of ways to wear one, and playing with it adds some fun to styling up your look, whether you wear it as a tie, belt or even as a top or dress.
After all, a scarf is truly modern, yet seasonless. The key is to pick a silk scarf with a print that you like, and try to find out the origin of the motif to appreciate the art of this “underdog” accessory. Quick tip: Opt for one that’s finished with the rolled hem technique, the mark of a great hand-crafted product.

Make a novel scarf – pleated, in cashmere mix or embroidered, and preferably in a maxi size – the centrepiece of your look.

One of the easiest ways to wear a scarf is as a neck tie. Opt for one in a contrasting colour to create a focal point to your ensemble.
Always start with a basic fold – meet the opposite diagonal points to the middle of the scarf, before folding the long edges to give you those nice corners at the ends.

Cashmere coat, leather skirt, Lozange silk scarf, silk and cashmere scarf (as the wide base), silk scarf (on top), and leather clogs, Hermes
This may look advanced, but it’s actually simpler than it looks. All you have to do is combine two contrasting scarves of different sizes, and tie them on top of each other.
The trick is to twist. After you fold the scarf into the basic fold, twist it to create a slimmer line, before using the scarf as a belt.

Wear it as a belt over a blazer in a plain colour to accentuate your waist, while breathing new life into an otherwise plain jacket.

Think farm chic as fashion. Wear a scarf as a neck piece on top of a jumpsuit to capture the SS ’21 utilitarian trend.
