How to ace: Bedroom dressing for a family dinner

Corsetry, lace-trimmed nightgowns and sheer evening dresses are given a more understated spin with creative layering – a welcome change from the overt sexiness typically associated with lingerie dressing.

At Gucci, the pairing of a sheer lace bra with an oversized biker jacket and torn knee-length stockings caught our attention. Despite the femininity of the bra, the overall column silhouette showcased a gender-neutral approach, and we are here for it.

Over at Burberry, former creative director Riccardo Tisci’s final showing with the brand did not disappoint, with an interesting interpretation of a slip dress worn over a sheer lace body stocking.
