London Fashion Week has sadly come to a close, but we’ve been greeted with both weird and wonderful trends to keep a track on this coming winter. The one we are most excited about though is the ‘oversize’. Leading the way with this trend was Burberry, whose entire collection was filled with larger-than-life jumpers, blouses, coats and shirt dresses. Following in the same footsteps were Christopher Kane, Peter Pilotto, Joseph, Marques Almeid and many more. This trend was universal across all major collections.
Basically, when it comes to fall, it's all about ‘the bigger the better’. That’s all you need to know to hit the forthcoming season’s major fashion statement. Extra long sleeved tops are already taking space on the shop shelves, so this is just an extension of that.
Sure, it may come off as slightly impractical (especially when you need to hold a cup of coffee without dipping your sleeve hem in it) but it is super cosy and delivers that ‘effortless cool’ aura that we all want in our down time.
