Created in collaboration with Yvonne Reichmuth, founder of Swiss design studio YVY, the designer is known for combining her avant-garde designs with traditional craftsmanship. The most ingenious thing about Reichmuth's creation for the Longines DolceVita is its innovative double strap. As opposed to a single strap that wraps twice around your wrist, the new DolceVita instead features two separate straps that are connected by discreet leather loops. This allows you to remove the second strap and change up the look of your watch to match your outfit of the day. The straps are also intended to evoke Longines’ long-standing association with the equestrian world — the connection between the two straps symbolizes the close connection between a horse and their rider.

The DolceVita X YVY is available in three different iterations, each with a smooth strap made from top-quality leather. The brown strap is paired with a face bearing roman numerals, the beige strap is paired with sleek silver hour markers, and the black riveted strap is paired with a simple all-black dial with no numerals at all. All three versions are available in two different sizes, so you could potentially share your watch with a partner if you’re so inclined.
