The hoodie upgrade: From street to chic

The driving theme of wearability was one of main focus this Fall/Winter 2023 season, and illustrating that trend are jackets, coats and dresses with built-in hoodies. Yes, you read that right: The hoodie, which has always been closely associated with streetwear, has been reinvented into separates that spell Upper East Side. Plush and oversized hooded fur sweatshirts were paired with embellished maxi skirts at Bally, while shearling hooded sweatshirts styled with heavy leather skirts took precedence at Proenza Schouler.
