Gem girls, rejoice: Global accessories brand Swarovski recently announced that its Consumer Goods Business (CGB) arm is the official fashion accessories partner Singapore Fashion Week (SGFW) this year.

Swarovski has plans to establish Singapore as the hub of fashion in the region and will be bringing in influencers, media and guests from around the region to Singapore for a series of fashion events.

What can fashion folks look forward to? For starters, Swarovski recently launched their Swarovski Insiders Programme aimed at strengthening its digital presence in Asia. The programme leverages on the fashion and style credibility of influencers to reach a broader audience.

To that end, the brand has carefully selected a group of digital influencers from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. The Singapore representatives include social media superstars Charmaine Seah-Ong, Rachel Lim and Bella Koh.

Why these three? Swarovski believes that the personal styles of these influencers resonates well with the brand and that they also have the ability to speak to their audience about what it takes to be a modern Swarovski woman.

Fans of the brand should also mark their calendars: There will be an exclusive shopping event hosted by a Swarovski insider this September.

Swarovski will also be holding an opening showcase party at Singapore Fashion Week, which will take place from October 26 to 30, 2016. The party will see invited guests, Swarovski Insiders, media and society personalities from Singapore and the region gather together after the opening designer’s runway show. Can’t wait!
