Bonitochico or as its fans call it, ‘BC’, is pretty much the blogshop to beat nowadays. Started by Viola Tan, 26, her sister, Velda Tan and her best friend, Rachel Lim, it’s even won ‘Best Blogshop’ in the Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Awards 2009, getting the top number of votes from the members of that blogging community.
And what would a stylish entreprenuer like Viola wear? The keywords are classy, elegant and sophisticated.
Here, she’s put together her 7 outfits of the week, just for herworldplus.com.
STYLISH DRESSER: FOR A CORPORATE MEETING
I actually wore this dress for a corporate meeting and took off the jacket for dinner and drinks after.
I love prints and structured printed items will usually catch my attention first.
The funny thing was, I was supposed to look for a cocktail dress to attend a wedding but ended up purchasing this item before anything else!

STYLISH DRESSER: CHINESE NEW YEAR VISIT
"This was for a Chinese New Year visit to a close family friend’s party and then hanging out with my friends after."
"I love jumpsuits and the way they elongate. I also love that they’re masculine (think pants) yet accentuate my curves."
"Also, I’m a comfort dresser so heels are a no-no if the occasion does not call for it!"
STYLISH DRESSER: HIGH TEA
"I like that Prada has a bag to suit every occasion. I especially love their wide variety of clutches and they go well with almost every outfit."
"The dress was a result of a great retail therapy session on a not-so-fantastic day and was lovely for high tea for my dad’s birthday celebration."
STYLISH DRESSER: CLUBBING
"I love shopping in Europe and America, especially in those quaint, unique boutiques featuring local designers. The best part is finding something uncommon during my shopping trips!"
"The Balanciaga Envelope Clutch was an impulse buy from their only boutique at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The giant hardware is a little too loud for my liking but it’s been all praises so far!"
STYLISH DRESSER: SHOPPING
"Love the structured yet feminine bustier on this dress! Minimal accessories and fuss free. A shopping and afternoon-tea outfit."
STYLISH DRESSER: GALA DINNER
"This has sentimental value to me as I wore it to the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards when BonitoChico won ‘Best Blogshop’ in 2009."
"And the shoes? I didn’t bring them today but definitely, my Louboutins to make my legs look longer!"
STYLISH DRESSER: WEDDING LUNCHEON
A good buddy’s wedding luncheon called for something pretty. As you can tell, I love dress with structured tops but this one is made even more feminine by the ruffles at the bottom. HW.com
