The 20-episode series centres on Korean-Italian mafia lawyer Vincenzo Cassano (played by Song Joong Ki) who flees to Korea following a war between mafia groups. There, he meets Hong Cha-Young (played by Jeon Yeo-been), and together, they work to take down their corrupt enemies. Hong Cha-Young is an undeniable workwear style icon, schooling us with strong, stylish and fierce power dressing whilst keeping it classy in her signature pant suit.

Knitwear has been a wardrobe staple in the past year with its soft and casual wearability. Jeon Yeo-been keeps it classic and comfy in a heather grey knitted wrap top paired with a nude ribbed skirt. A heather grey knit spells timeless elegance and will look great in your Zoom meeting. The best part? You can style it with your favourite pair of sweatpants (just out of the frame). Nobody needs to know!

2. Go monochromatic

This stunning all-pink outfit proves that while polished, a pant suit can be far from conservative. Choose a fitted silhouette in a pastel pink shade to add a feminine twist to masculine tailoring.

Follow Jeon Yeo-been’s lead and keep the rest of your look simple in a silky champagne top, brown structured croc-effect bag and dainty silver jewellery.

3. Invest in a shoulder-baring number

For an outfit that is equal parts statement-making and feminine, look no further than an off-the-shoulder dress. Revealing just a hint of décolletage, this “vaccine-ready” silhouette adds an interesting edge to an otherwise formal piece.

Take a leaf out of Jeon Yeo-been’s style book and style your LBD with your hair in a low ponytail, dainty jewellery, a clutch and pair of strappy heels for seamless day-to-night dressing.

4. Wear a blazer with delicate detailing

Jeon Yeo-been is almost always seen in a blazer or pant suit when on the job. In this case, the blazer is the outfit. With delicate pleated detailing on the lapel, this cream blazer seen on the actress is absolutely breathtaking. She teamed her blazer with minimalist rings and put her hair up in a ponytail.

Nothing goes with blue more than blue. The key to monochromatic outfits is to mix and match pieces in different shades of the same colour. Case in point: Jeon Yeo-been is wearing a lighter powder blue shirt under a darker cerulean blazer.

Single-coloured outfits work very well with statement jewellery and can be easily assembled with things that you already own in your closet. What’s not to like?
