Rihanna x Amina Muddai's shoe drop is what everyone has been waiting for

Rihanna has proven, time and again, to be a proponent of creative collaborations, and Fenty‘s debut shoe collection is no exception. The superstar tapped designer Amina Muaddi—known for her architectural-heeled shoes and effortless glamour—to co-design a limited edition capsule comprising lace-up sandals and mesh mules, named Release 7-20. This also marks the first time the Fenty brand has teamed up with another designer.

Having achieved cult status among Instagram It-girls—with the likes of Hailey Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid and Rihanna herself—Muaddi is a force to be reckoned with. Having dreamed up the collection alongside RiRi and Jahleel Weaver, Fenty’s deputy creative director, you can be sure that this is no ordinary shoe drop.

The line comes in colourways ranging from neutral tones of black and cream to striking shades of candy pink and acid green, so there’s something to match every summer outfit. Release 7-20 is a collection made for cool girls who are strong, confident and feminine.

The Amina Muaddi x Fenty 7-20 collection is now available at the FENTY website. A second release is set to drop on Farfetch on July 22, alongside Drop 3 of Release 6-20.
