Jennie set to debut third collaboration with Gentle Monster this May

Following her last two successful collaborations with Gentle Monster, Blackpink's Jennie has just unveiled her third collaboration with the label that's set to be released this May.

Over the last week, the star took to Instagram to tease fans about her exciting project with the brand. Posting a series of unboxing videos, the star revealed an adorable unicorn toy adorned with charms that resemble accessories for the eyewear as well as a stylish pink box bearing the label "Jentle Salon".

Inside, the box reveals four pairs of sunglasses and one pair of reading glasses, accompanied by an assortment of pendants and a comb. Among the charms, there were a few whimsical characters like the capybara, a creature cherished by the artist, alongside a wide range of bows and pearls.

Drawing inspiration from her cherished childhood memories, you can really tell that the collection embodies Jennie's signature style. This is also evident in her previous collaboration with Gentle Monster which also reflects the same enchanting theme.

Giving you the freedom to embellish your eyewear, the Jentle Salon collection stands out from the rest because you can choose from a range of 11 detachable charms that sophisticatedly interpret Jennie’s favourites - like capybaras and clouds – and customise it by pressing the charms into the panels of your eyewear, as well as temples that slide into hair, resembling a barrette.

In total, the Jentle Salon range will also see eight different frame silhouttes including a refined line of eyewear and shades.

Leading up to the launch of the collection, Gentle Monster has also announced via Instagram that the brand will be hosting a slew of pop-up events in 13 different cities worldwide to celebrate the launch of the new line. The selected cities include Seoul, New York, Costa Mesa, Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur.

For Singapore, the event will be held at the Gentle Monster store at Marina Bay Sands from May 1 to June 30.

The Jentle Salon collection will be available online (11AM KST) and in stores on 1 May.
