Thirst traps aren’t reserved for Thursdays

If you’re up-to-date with the local dramas like Derek - Code of Law (2019) and Who Is Killer? (2020), you’ll definitely know this local heartthrob. Known as one of the 8 Dukes of Caldecott Hill, Desmond Tan has never failed to wow us with his remarkable acting skills and charming good looks.
To celebrate his birthday today (August 19), we rounded up five of his most stylish looks for this year. Who knows, your man can take a leaf out of his book too.
When it comes to grocery runs, most will be dressed in T-shirt + denim shorts and flip flops. However, Desmond takes it to the next level by donning a black ensemble, adding a touch of colour to his look with a denim jacket – now that’s what we call shopping in style.
We love a man in a good suit. Instead of the usual black and navy, Desmond went with a white number with black graffiti details from Fendi’s latest collab with visual artist Joshua Vides. The black brogues add to the dapper vibe.
Desmond doesn’t just play it safe when it comes to fashion – he’s willing to explore bolder choices too. This Onitsuka Tiger orange tracksuit is fun and flamboyant – perfect for the weekends or a night out.
Desmond definitely knows his stuff when it comes to juxtaposing patterns, keeping the different prints within the same colour palette. Here, he wore an Hermes scarf-printed shirt with striped pants in different shades of blue.
Having a bad hair day? An easy way to handle it with minimal effort is to rock a bucket hat. Desmond was spotted in one while enjoying some durians – and we’re positive that it’s absolutely delicious, since his pet dog Hoshi can’t stop drooling over it.
