Lisa Crosswhite, Founder and CEO of Gnossem, a local e-commerce start up which curates independent labels for their key customer, ‘the unboring woman’, has just launched her very own label, Chi Chi von Tang at F1’s hottest party, Amber Lounge.

The label mixes traditional Chinese elements, such as silk cheongsams and mandarin collars, with attitude-filled contemporary pieces, to dramatic effect. The label’s founder left her job at Ogilivy and Mather three years ago to launch her start-up, Gnossem. Lisa Crosswhite has said of the label’s design ethos: “I wanted to show my Chinese heritage in my style, but the available options were too traditional and ladylike for my taste. I therefore began dreaming of pieces that you could throw on with sharp basics you already have, and that Chi Chi piece would make you feel instantly badass. Instantly Asian. Sexy, mysterious, and a woman of the world. Chi Chi is for the exotic warrior princess in you. She succeeds in a man’s world, while building her own. She is aware of her ethnic roots. She intrigues.”

Here are our favourite looks from Saturday night’s runway extravaganza both on and off the catwalk, Chi Chi von Tang’s Spring Summer 2016 collection will be available on Gnossem in time for Chinese New Year 2016 and a curated selection for pre-order on Gnossem in October 2015:
