Hedi Slimane has photographed three legends of the music world dressed in Saint Laurent in an exciting new campaign.
As part of his ‘Saint Laurent Music Project’, Slimane has previously shot pop and rock stars including Daft Punk, Marilyn Manson and art rock legend Kim Gordon.
Now musical icons Chuck Berry, B.B. King and Jerry Lee Lewis have all been photographed by Slimane in a new series titled ‘Architects of Rock and Blues’.
The Saint Laurent creative director road-tripped to Saint Louis, Las Vegas and Nesbit, Mississippi, to take the black and white shots. The three blues and rock ‘n’ roll legends wear specially tailored suits by the Parisian label.
King appears in a Saint Laurent ‘Le Smoking’ suit and plays his guitar, while Jerry Lee Lewis sits at a piano in a ‘Teddy’ tuxudo, and original rock ‘n’ roll hellraiser Chuck Berry wears the same suit with his trademark captain’s hat. – AFP RELAXNEWS
