KAWS teases 'Sesame Street' collaboration with Uniqlo

Pop artist and designer KAWS revealed via Instagram that he has a new Uniqlo collaboration in the works, this time featuring the characters of "Sesame Street".

Kaws has regularly collaborated with the Japanese retailer, with past KAWS x Uniqlo efforts -- including a 2017 capsule collection featuring characters from Peanuts -- resulting in ranges of graphic T-shirts, toys and tote bags, among other items.

The launch date of the Sesame Street line is unknown, although on Intagram KAWS refers to the collaboration as a "summer project," suggesting a launch may be imminent.
