Heads up for full-figured women – local swimwear label K.Blu has launched its first Curve Collection of this year, featuring a range of tankinis, one-piece swimwear, and a kaftan made especially for women with curvier body types.

With sizes ranging from UK10 to UK18, the Curve Collection is a welcome plug in the gap for larger-sized swimwear in Asia. To develop the collection, K.Blu has fitted over 100 women of the targeted demographic in order to understand the needs of a fuller figure. The result is swimwear that employs ruching in strategic places to enhance and shape the body in ways a plain swimsuit can’t do, plus ample support for the bust minus the discomfort of underwire cups. The collection also uses the same Italian Carvico fabric that K.Blu uses for all its collections, for its stretchiness (it stretches four ways), durability, comfort, and SPF50 protection.

Designs available for the collection include colourful geometric prints, and a fail-safe full-black. Prices range from $110 to $350. Buy it at www.kblu.com or K.Blu’s flagship at Mandarin Gallery Orchard (#02-14) from June, and browse the collection below:
