Full skirts, pleats and bright colours take over street style

Our “man in Milan”, photographer and writer Onin Lorente has been snapping and writing away at the various fashion weeks but it was at Milan that he spotted this fun trend on the backs of the street style stars. 

The full skirts, prints, pleats and bright colours create pretty, feminine looks that are perfect to wear in Singapore’s hot weather; check them out below.

We love the combination of bright blue and silvery grey and the fine pleats of the skirt add subtle volume; this skirt shape is flattering to just about every body type.

This multi-coloured checked shirtdress would not look out of place in any Singapore office lady’s wardrobe and it’s so easy to dress up or down.

We have total love for this combination of printed shirt and complimenting printed full skirt; sure you can wear a printed full skirt with a plain white shirt for a smart 50s inspired look, but adding a complementary printed shirt really ups the fashion factor.
