Chanel has outdone itself again. Every season, the luxury brand sets a precedent with jaw-dropping runway themes that tells you exactly where they want you to bring their pieces. This season, they imported sand and water to recreate a tranquilizing day at a beach, complete with gentle lapping waves. Welcome to Chanel‘s beach.
With the runway set as an obvious allusion to summer, Chanel wasted no time in bringing what they had to offer for the season. The collection featured their iconic tweed blazers, but of course, in shades of pastel.
The colours are luminous all over the Grand Palais and this is no different from the looks that were going down the runway. The cabin dresses, tweed pantsuits and vacation ready swimsuits all sit well with the notion of a breezy Sunday afternoon at the beach.
