The battle of the OOTDs

1/11

As temperatures continue to take a plunging drop across the globe, these celebs layer up in the most stylish way possible, such as with cutesy graphic knit sweaters and chic puffer coats. Luna and G.E.M each dazzled in their own ensembles of long sleeved reflective blouses and A-line maxi skirts while others such as Heeyeon and Minyoung opted for full-on heavyweight knits and scarves to battle the chilly climate.

Back home, Jeanette Aw chimes in with a good ol’ wooly sweater and a full midi skirt in spirit of the season.

If you’re travelling abroad for the holidays and need some serious style inspiration, take a leaf out of these celebrities’ style books for a change.

Sophie Zhang

2/11

At the Burberry x Kris Wu after party in Shanghai, actress Sophie Zhang exuded total punk babe vibes in a signature Burberry plaid print pair of pants and a timeless leather jacket. She paired it with a tartan-printed pouch which offers a  bright pop of colour to the outfit.

Jeanette Aw

Jeanette Aw seems to be embracing her inner Disney fanatic in this Snow White-esque ensemble. Her sweater reads “You are the fairest of them all” and she paired this whimsical number with a fully skirted midi with poppy red apples plastered all over it. We’re never too old for a healthy dose of ‘Disney Princess’ in our closets, that’s for sure.

Ahn Heeyeon

What to wear to an early morning hike up a beachside trail? Well, if you’re Heeyeon, an electric blue hoodie, leggings, a pair of nudish pink track shoes, and an uber-chic puffer jacket, that’s what! The Korean singer from EXID braves the chills in her sporty chic attire as she takes in the breathtaking scenery around her. We don’t know about you, but this makes us want to drop everything and travel to a foreign land, pronto.

Minyoung Park

6/11

Minyoung dresses in a black blouse with white frill collar trimmings (so vintage!), a pair of slim fit jeans, a milky chocolate scarf and a chic navy coat which holds its shape. The Korean actress tops it all off with a very on-trend pair of ankle boots.

Luna

7/11

Nothing says ‘festive’ more than a glittery green number. Luna, a member of the South Korean girl group f(x), is the perfect advocate for this, ushering in some pre-holiday cheers in an eye-catching long sleeved blouse decked in glitter and a pussybow. She teams this with a high-waisted tiered skirt (we show you how to style this trend here) with polka dot mesh lace.

Jolin Cai

How to pull off fluorescent shades of neon orange and cobalt blue without looking like a walking glowstick? Jolin Cai shows us show how by pairing her outlandish puffer jacket with more mellowed-down options such as a plain black tee and skin-hugging leather pants. With a bright red Versace crossbody in tow, the Taiwanese singer nails airport dressing effortlessly.

G.E.M

9/11

G.E.M’s outfit practically oozes glamour with its metallic turtleneck blouse and high waisted skirt with slits. The singer-songwriter from Hong Kong also looks fantastic in those stiletto sock boots we wish so badly to covet. We’ve also got our eye on that statement logo belt by Gucci — can you say ‘trend to try’?

Hyun Ah

10/11

Here’s a little something for those who’d rather stick to summer dressing instead. Emulate Hyun Ah’s girl-next-door look with a retro slogan t-shirt and pair it with distressed denim shorts for a laid back errand-running day. Throw on a pair of muted mustard yellow sneakers for a youthful look.

Ouyang Nana

The Taiwanese actress and musician keeps it casual in a white graphic t-shirt — which seems to be a consistent outfit of choice running across celebs’ OOTDs this week — and a classic pair of boyfriend jeans. She adds a feminine factor to her outfit with a millenial pink denim jacket and a matching carry-all.
