The Cannes Film Festival kicked off on Tuesday May 8, with an inaugural red carpet awash with fairytale ensembles from celebs like Fan Bing Bing and models like Ming Xi and Sui He. With the number of beautiful gowns we saw, it’s safe to say that the French cinema's biggest event saw plenty of glamour and sophistication this year.

 

Back in Singapore, local veteran actresses Fann Wong and Zoe Tay each too brought their A game in style with their OOTDs.

Fan Bing Bing

Chinese actress Fan Bing Bing wore a polished black tailored stole jacket and cropped flare trousers in grain-de-poudre from Givenchy’s haute couture spring summer 2018 line to the 71st Annual Cannes Film Festival. Looking sharp and feminine, the actress looked particularly elegant as she ditched the common option of soft pastel tulle gowns for a more sophisticated look.

Fann Wong celebrates Mother’s Day with a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram to her son Zed. The post captions in Chinese, “Dear son, please look at mum this way even when you’re older.
