Australian fashion has been a favourite of many hip local girls for its quirky yet pretty designs and easy wearability.
Now, 2 Australian labels known for that have arrived in Singapore for the first time! Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store.
MIMCO
An accessories brand whose creations have appeared on Sex and the City (google ‘Panda’ bag) and on the arms of Britney Spears and Beyonce, so it’s backed by lots of star power.
This season, Creative Director Cathryn Wills and her design team drew inspiration from various sources – legendary French actress Catherine Deneuve in the film ‘Hunger’, the music of Frank Sinatra, Vampire Weekend and MGMT, Tina Turner in the sci-fi flick ‘Mad Max’ to come up with the collection called ‘Evolution Utopia’.
And the result? Fierce futuristic shoes, chunky necklaces, studded bags and more.

WITCHERY
One colleague describes the brand as sophisticated and urbane and taking a look at the campaign images, we’d have to agree. The shop here is their first stand-alone accessories store in Asia, so expect to find lots of shoes, handbags, jewellery and more.
